Bog Shoe Tour (Sunset, Daytime, or Sunrise)

Explore Latvia on a fun and exciting hiking tour through the Lielais Ķemeru Bog, equipped with special bog shoes.

At the start of the tour, your guide will help you put on special bog shoes and explain safety precautions. As we walk past small bog pines, we’ll enjoy breathtaking views of pristine bog lakes and experience a truly untouched landscape.

During the adventure, it is essential to wear water-resistant boots(You can rent it from us) or waterproof trekking half-boots to keep your feet dry and warm. The bog shoes attach to your boots for easier movement across the soft terrain. This relatively easy hike offers stunning scenery, making it a perfect outdoor experience. Children can also join the adventure when accompanied by a parent.

A daily group tour departs at 1:00 PM, with special sunrise and sunset tours available on select dates.

        What to bring

          Dress according to the weather, wear light, comfortable clothes. If you have your own waterproof hiking boots, please bring them. If not, please indicate your shoe size so we can provide rubber boots.
