The tour begins in Riga Old Town, where you will also hear a short introduction to the history and highlights of the Old Town before we continue our walk toward the market.

Our guide will lead you through the market, share its fascinating history, and introduce you to authentic Latvian specialties. During the tour you will have the opportunity to enjoy a tasting of local products, including local hemp products, locally produced cheese, and a special Latvian craft beer that is available only in a few places in the city. You will also hear the stories of the producers themselves, learning more about the traditions behind these foods.

The tasting is included in the tour price, and our guests will also have the opportunity to purchase the products to take home at a special price available exclusively for our tour participants.
